Tumblr is one of the fastest growing user-communities on the web. Part blogging-platform, part social network, it's more powerful than Twitter and easier to use than Facebook -. Is a creative melting pot - over 6 million users now Tumble, and if you're a filmmaker, film reviewer or a film geek and you're not already a part of the action, then you're going to want to be.
Of course Tumblr isn't all film - there are Tumblogs that focus on everything from photography, music and comic books, to graphic design, creative writing, art, comedy, food, politics, health & fitness and pratically any topic you can think of. It's the film aspect that excites us, understandably. A hub for up and coming film makers, film reviewers and established talent (Rian Johnson, director of Brick, has a Tumblr for, and posts his short film projects), it's a veritable ocean of creative minds that you'll want to immerse yourself in. To get you started we've compiled a list of 100 awesome Tumblr filmmakers, reviewers and fans - and this is just scratching the surface. So dig in, look around and get started with your own Tumblr - and be sure to while you're at it!

Movie Websites Best List. Find information on movie review blogs, movie reviews, movie trailers, classic movie blogs, movie magazines, movie news and more.
I take three movies from a randomly chosen year, view, review, then score each one out of ten. To get and 8, 9 or 10, a movie has to be very good, exceptional or life changing. The one with the highest score becomes ‘ The Best Movie of ‘ of that year, out of the three I chose to watch. Only movies made from 1927 onwards (the date of the first ‘talkies’) are included, although I may dip into earlier movies occasionally.
100 Best Movie Blogs
When I watch a movie I try to forget about the actors, or making comparisons with other films in the genre, or watch films for the sake of watching them because they’re ‘supposed to be good’. If something shows no promise after 20 or so minutes, I’ll bin it rather than endure it and move on to something else. I just see what thoughs and feelings a movie leaves with me afterwards. Did I enjoy it? Was it interesting? There will be no intentional ‘spoilers’ in the movie reviews. Although I may mention plot elements and events in some detail at times, I’ll always avoid giving away crucial information which would spoil the end of the movie.
Movie Review Blogs
I write this blog for a bit of personal amusement, so don’t expect something every week, or even most weeks. You won’t find any real horror or essentially violent movies in my listings – I just don’t like them.
