Never have I been able to find better sound - at least not for an idiot like me who doesn't like to fool around with sound settings. Really, they are beyond me when taken past the bass to treble ratio. Spider Player didn't need that. And, it was small, didn't want to hog the screen. And, it offered a nice dark skin. And the one time I had trouble I got a quick response from the developer.

And now to get to the heartbreaking part, read the Cons. Cons: No longer developed. The link for the website, provided above, took me past a wot warning and on to a page advertising Splenda. Other Thoughts: I wish somebody - like Source Forge - would pick it up and carry on.
